Skin Care Routine

I get asked all the time what skin care products I use & I get complimented on how amazing my skin is & how young I look. Well, ladies here are the products that I use and my daily skin care routine: 

***These three are my Holy Grail Face Cleansers: ***

I have very oily skin =/ and when I'm extremely stressed out I break out. So, I'm constantly trying out face cleansers that say "Oil Free" or anything with "Salicylic Acid." 

When I am breaking out in pimples or blackheads I will use the Clearasil Hydra-Blast Oil-Free Facewash. 

For every other day I will use the Garnier Clean Shine Control Cleansing Gel. This smells amazing & turns into a foam in your hands. It has charcoal in it which really cleans your face & gets out all of the impurities in your skin. 

Once I week I will use my St. Ives Apricot Cleanser. This cleanser should only be used 1-2 times a week because it can be harsh on your skin. It completely gets out the dead yucky skin on your face & reveals the young fresh-looking skin underneath.

My make-up remover products & the process: 

These are the products that I use to take off all of my make-up. 

I use the oil-free eye make-up remover by Equate (Wal-Mart brand) this stuff is amazing! It does NOT burn or irritate my eyes & it gets most of my eyeshadow & eyeliner off in one swipe of my cottonball.  ***(Holy Grail Product)***

I then use the Olay Fresh Effects make-up removal wipes to wipe off all my make-up on my face. (Primer, Foundation, Powder & Blush) These wipes are amazing! They smell so good & only ONE wipe will take off ALL of my make-up!!! I love it!!! 

Once I get all of my make-up off I will either use the Neutrogena Oil-Eliminating Toner to clean my face or most likely use the Clearasil Hydra-Blast Oil Free pads. These pads are amazing! I use them all the time & I never go on vacation without them!

I get a lot of yucky blackheads around my nose, forehead & my chin. I have used these Biore Pore Strips for years & they are amazing!!! When you strip them off of your face you can see the blackheads. It is like a relief to me to see them on the strip! Lol. I use these strips twice a week.

Last but not last, to spot treat my pimples that have already formed and are  whiteheads & swollen. I use Clearasil Acne+Marks Spot Lotion. I dab a little bit of this on a Q-tip & put it on the pimple. I leave it on for at least 10-15 minutes. It dries out the pimple & helps minimize acne scars. 

Ladies, this is my complete skincare regimen. I hope this blog helped & I hope you might try some or all of these products! I buy all of them at Wal-Mart.

Now, you most likely might have different skin than I do. So, some of these products might not work for you or might cause a reaction to your skin. You have to find the best products that work for you & your skin type.

Natural Face (No Makeup)

I wanted to do a post on showing off your natural face with NO make-up. 

I don't wear make-up every day. Sometimes the occasion calls for NO make-up. I like to let my face breathe because sometimes make-up can cause my skin to break out. 

Here is my natural face with no make-up at all: 

Make-up is only intended to enhance your beauty. So, ladies don't be afraid to go out in public with your natural face! God made you beautiful just the way you are!!! =)

Makeup look for 07.25.14

Everyone was asking what products I used for my make-up look on my eyes & cheeks today. I got so many compliments on it! =)

I used the dark cobalt blue eyeshadow from my Take Me to Brazil Palette from BH Cosmetics to line underneath my eyes. I bought this palette for only 6.95! Amazing, beautiful & highly pigmented. Such a great makeup company. 

So beautiful!!! 

I lined my lids first with my black cream eyeliner from ELF Cosmetics & then on top of the black eyeliner I carefully lined that with the Wet N Wild Liquid Mega Last Liner. 

Lastly for my cheeks I used the amazing Iris Blush Duo (the blush on the left) once again from BH Cosmetics. I loved the blush. Gave me a rosy look. 

It is so beautiful!

Makeup Look for 07.23.14

Wearing shades of my favorite color: Purple. I got a lot of compliments on my make-up today.

I used my Purple Milani Infinite Liquid Eyeliner that I bought for only $1 at Dollar Tree for my cat eye & winged eyeliner. Such a great product for only $1! It goes on smooth & applies really well. 

I used my holy grail eyeshadows by Maybelline Eye Studio in Amethyst Ablazed & Purple Icon. I highly recommend Maybelline eyeshadows. Such a Great Drugstore Brand! I used my favorite brushes by EcoTools to apply my eyeshadows.

L.A. Color Dollar Tree Haul

I couldn't resist ladies! I went back to my Dollar Tree today & they had more LA Colors & Milani makeup that was not there on Saturday. 

I love Dollar Tree! Such a great deal! Everything in that store is only $1! I will probably start making Dollar Tree my ritual stop every week along with my usual Wal-Mart & T.J. Maxx. More hauls & swatches coming soon!!! =)

I wanted to post 10 facts about ME. So, ya'll can know me a little bit better.

I'm Jessica aka Shopaholichunny. 

1) I'm 27 years old. (DOB: 04.25.87) 

2) I was born in Manila, Philippines. 

3) I moved to the USA when I was about 5 1/2 years old. 

4) English was my second language. Now, its my only language.

6) I lived in Charleston, SC then Jacksonville, FL & now I currently reside in the beautiful bluegrass state of KY. 

7) I love hard. I feel everything within my heart & my soul. It's why I get hurt so much too =/

Makeup Look for 07.09.14

Details on my makeup look that I wore today for work: 

These are the products that I used for my eyes & cheeks. 

First put the white eyeshadow of the Maybelline Eyestudio Palette in 50 Taupe Temptress in the tear duct on both eyes. Use the Maybelline Eyestudio duo in 80 Sinful Sinnamon on both eyelids. Blend both colors well. I use the darker color as  my cut crease. I used the silver Rimmel Scandaleyes eyeliner pencil to line the top of my lids. Then last I lined the bottom of my eyes (Cat Eye) with the Black Cream liner by ELF Cosmetics using ELF cosmetics Angled Liner brush. ($3 at Wal-Mart) 

My cheeks are Tickled Pink blush by ELF Cosmetics. This blush is one of my favorites. Light pink with shimmer & a deal for only $3 at Wal-Mart. Apply on the      apples of your cheek & blend outwards. 

Products that I used for my face: 

I Prime my face with the Rimmel Fix & Perfect Primer in 001. I prime my eyelids with the Rimmel Stay Matte Primer in 003. My foundation is Rimmel Stay Matte in True Beige & my Powder is Rimmel Stay Matte in Creamy Beige. Obviously, I am a big fan of the Rimmel Stay Matte line. They are amazing for my oily & temperamental skin! =/

My lipstick is Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter in 045 Cotton Candy. So pretty and creamy! 

The finished look: I got so many compliments on my make-up. Very easy & simple look for every day.

I had a request from a friend to swatch this beautiful 16-color Eyeshadow Palette from L.A. Colors. I bought it at K-Mart for $4.99! Such a great deal!!!

Beautiful, Pigmented & just the right amount of Shimmer. It looks amazing on my tan skin. My favorite is the dark olive green eyeshadow on the bottom row. I can't wait to wear these! Such a great deal for $4.99!!! =)

Wet N Wild is one of the best cheap drugstore makeup lines out there. I'm a big fan! I have been using their makeup for years.

New Garnier Face Cleanser

My face is always very oily so I'm constantly on the lookout for a facial cleanser that will controil my oily face & not dry out my face. 

I am a big fan of Garnier and I saw this new cleanser that they recently came out with. 

I have been using it for the past two weeks & I love it. It comes out as a gel & it turns into a foam in your hand. 

It has charcoal which really cleans out your face. This is amazing & I will be buying again! I highly recommend this product if you have oily & shiny skin like me!

Mini Rite Aid Haul

Rite-Aid is literally the best drugstore to get the most current make-up & nail polishes. 

I stopped by & their Wet N Wild Cosmetics is buy 1 get the 2nd one 50% off. 

I finally bought the Coloricon Bronzer & Blush that I have been wanting. Everything was such a deal & so cute! 

It is so beautiful!!! I can not wait to wear this!!!

July 4th Mani & Pedi

I did a simple glitter & gradient mani & pedi for July 4th. 

Here are the products that I used: 

First I prime my nails with my holy grail chip preventing primer by Orly. (Bought at Sally Beauty Store) $8 

Then I applied my holy grail top coat. Seche Vite. This top coat is the shit! Amazing. Dries Fast. No bubbles. $5 at Sally Beauty Store.

For my toes: First I applied Maybelline's Color Show Nail Laquer in Paint the Town   & then I applied the beautiful Color Frenzy Red White & Hue by Sally Hansen over the Red. Both polishes can be bought for around $6 at Wal-Mart or any drugstore like CVS or Walgreens. 

For my nails: I just applied the Sally Hansen Color Frenzy in Red White & Hue over my naked acrylics. Then I applied the Seche Vite top coat over it to lock it in place & to prevent chipping.

I swear by these polishes & brands! Amazing & Affordable. Thanks for all the love & support everyone! =)
