Maybelline Color Sensational Vivid Lipsticks

I wanted to share 4 new lipsticks that I recently added to my collection...

They are from Maybelline's Colorsensational Vivid Lipstick line. 

They are bright, beautiful, highly pigmented & of course vivid! 

So beautiful!

I bought these at Wal-Mart for $7.50 each.

Makeup Look for 07.23.14

Wearing shades of my favorite color: Purple. I got a lot of compliments on my make-up today.

I used my Purple Milani Infinite Liquid Eyeliner that I bought for only $1 at Dollar Tree for my cat eye & winged eyeliner. Such a great product for only $1! It goes on smooth & applies really well. 

I used my holy grail eyeshadows by Maybelline Eye Studio in Amethyst Ablazed & Purple Icon. I highly recommend Maybelline eyeshadows. Such a Great Drugstore Brand! I used my favorite brushes by EcoTools to apply my eyeshadows.

Makeup Look for 07.09.14

Details on my makeup look that I wore today for work: 

These are the products that I used for my eyes & cheeks. 

First put the white eyeshadow of the Maybelline Eyestudio Palette in 50 Taupe Temptress in the tear duct on both eyes. Use the Maybelline Eyestudio duo in 80 Sinful Sinnamon on both eyelids. Blend both colors well. I use the darker color as  my cut crease. I used the silver Rimmel Scandaleyes eyeliner pencil to line the top of my lids. Then last I lined the bottom of my eyes (Cat Eye) with the Black Cream liner by ELF Cosmetics using ELF cosmetics Angled Liner brush. ($3 at Wal-Mart) 

My cheeks are Tickled Pink blush by ELF Cosmetics. This blush is one of my favorites. Light pink with shimmer & a deal for only $3 at Wal-Mart. Apply on the      apples of your cheek & blend outwards. 

Products that I used for my face: 

I Prime my face with the Rimmel Fix & Perfect Primer in 001. I prime my eyelids with the Rimmel Stay Matte Primer in 003. My foundation is Rimmel Stay Matte in True Beige & my Powder is Rimmel Stay Matte in Creamy Beige. Obviously, I am a big fan of the Rimmel Stay Matte line. They are amazing for my oily & temperamental skin! =/

My lipstick is Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter in 045 Cotton Candy. So pretty and creamy! 

The finished look: I got so many compliments on my make-up. Very easy & simple look for every day.

July 4th Mani & Pedi

I did a simple glitter & gradient mani & pedi for July 4th. 

Here are the products that I used: 

First I prime my nails with my holy grail chip preventing primer by Orly. (Bought at Sally Beauty Store) $8 

Then I applied my holy grail top coat. Seche Vite. This top coat is the shit! Amazing. Dries Fast. No bubbles. $5 at Sally Beauty Store.

For my toes: First I applied Maybelline's Color Show Nail Laquer in Paint the Town   & then I applied the beautiful Color Frenzy Red White & Hue by Sally Hansen over the Red. Both polishes can be bought for around $6 at Wal-Mart or any drugstore like CVS or Walgreens. 

For my nails: I just applied the Sally Hansen Color Frenzy in Red White & Hue over my naked acrylics. Then I applied the Seche Vite top coat over it to lock it in place & to prevent chipping.

I swear by these polishes & brands! Amazing & Affordable. Thanks for all the love & support everyone! =)

Make-up look for 06.07.14

My look for yesterday's trip to see Thomas the Train with my 3-year old son. 

To achieve this look I used: 

As you can tell I love Rimmel & NYX makeup products. They are the best for my very oily face & medium dark complexion. 

Face: I wash my face first (Always start with a blank & clean canvas) First I apply the Fix & Perfect Primer, Stay Matte   Foundation in True Beige, I put the NYX Orange cream blush on the apples of my cheeks (Apply while smiling). Last I set my face with the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in Creamy Beige. 

Eyes: I used the red on the far left of the Sex Bomb palette for my crease. (Hard to see because I have hooded Asian eyes) I applied the Orange & Light Brown shimmery eyeshadow from the Maybelline Eye Studio Palette (95 Coral Oasis). The eyeliners I used were the NYX  eyeliners: Milk (Inner Corners) Bronze (Outer Corners) 

Lips: I first applied NYX lipliner pencil in 850 Nectar, put a little bit of lip balm to moisturize my lips (my lips stay dry) then lastly my lipstick was the NYX Matte lipstick MLS 24 Street Cred. 

And Voila after about 30 minutes I was ready! The things we do to be pretty! Lol
