Makeup Brushes for Eyes

I had a special request asking what brushes I use to line my eyes & apply eyeshadow. 

I use four different brushes: 

The three black brushes are from ELF Cosmetics. $3 each. You can buy them from Wal-Mart, T.J. Maxx, the ELF Cosmetics Website or Ulta Beauty Store. 

The Brown Brush is an Eco Tool brush. 

I bought it in a set for $11. (Amazing brushes & Eco-Friendly) You can buy them from Ulta Beauty Store, Wal-Mart, Target, T.J. Maxx or the Eco Tool Website. 

I use the black Angled Eyeliner brush to line my eyes with cream eyeliner. (Any Color) 

I use the black smudge brushes to smudge & lightly blend my eyeliner & eyeshadows. 

I use the brown Eco Tool angled brush to apply my eyeshadows on my lids & brow bone.

Bath & Body Works Haul

My Bath & Body Works haul from 06.20.14. 

My favorite scent is Japanese Cherry Blossom so I had to stock up on that scent. Everything else I bought will be gifts. They are having their semi-annual sale right now until July 6th. 

My grand total for everything was only $45.30! I saved $108.76!!! So amazing. I plan on going back one more time next weekend before the sale ends. Hurry up ladies & GO GO GO before the sale ends! 

Lookbook for the week of June 23rd

Three makeup looks that I wore this week. 

I wear more natural makeup during the week at work. 

Makeup Look for 06.25.14

I was just playing with my make-up & trying out some new looks & came up with this: 

I tried to match my makeup to my shirt & my beautiful bauble necklace that I bought at Wal-Mart for $10! (Deal)

I used these products: 

Face: Rimmel Fix & Perfect Primer in 001 & Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in Creamy Beige. 

Blush: Estee Lauder in Fresh Plum. 

Eyes: Crease was a mix of a light & dark gray from my ELF 96-piece eyeshadow palette. The purple eyeshadow was a mix of the two purples from my L.A. Colors Palette. Eyeliner was ELF Cream Eyeliner in Blackest black. I used the ELF Angled Eyeliner brush to apply the cat eyes. 

Lips: First I applied concealer & then patted some Rimmel Stay Matte powder with a brush. Lined my lips with NYX Lipliner Pencil in 850 Nectar. Lipstick I used was Wet N Wild was 522A Dark Wine. 

I loved this look & it was fun to create. What do ya'll think?! 

Makeup Storage Idea

Cute Storage Idea: I bought this cute organizer at Burke's Outlet for $5.99. I use it to store my large & medium size eyeshadow palettes. I love it & I already need another one! Lol. 

L.A. Colors Eyeshadow Palette Review

I found this beautiful eyeshadow palette  from L.A. Colors for $4.99 at Burke's Outlet. I fell in love right away. These colors are beautiful, bold & bright!

I love them! They look amazing on my tan skin. Highly pigmented & perfect colors for summer! What a Great Beauty Buy for  only $4.99! 

Loreal Blushing Sequin Lipstick

I finally bought Loreal ColourRiche Blushing Sequin Lipstick. (172) I got it for $4 at Big Lots compared to $10 at CVS. 

Beautiful Lipstick color. Light pink. It applied smoothly but I personally think the color is too light for me. I like more of a bolder & brighter pink for my look.

Statement Bauble Necklaces

I saw these beauties for the first time at Wal-Mart last night. I wanted all of them! They were all so beautiful! 

But, I refrained and I only bought one Bauble necklace. It was so hard to choose! 

They were all only $10! Such a great deal. If you are a big fan of beautiful necklaces like I am then run on into your nearest Wal-Mart before they're all gone! I hope everyone has a Fabulous Weekend!

Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Shampoo

I will start trying new products weekly & I will test them out for all of you & give everyone a honest review. 

My first product I have been wanting to change for a long time is my shampoo. 

I have used Tresemme Volume shampoo for years but it's just not working out for me anymore. 

I have thick hair but not much volume to it. It gets frizzy & flat very quick. I currently live in KY but the last two places I lived were Jacksonville, FL & Charleston, SC. Both very humid places which is not good for my hair. 

I have had my eye on Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Shampoo for a while now. I stopped by Dollar General earlier & this shampoo was on sale for $2.50. (Originally $3.50) It claims 3-day sleek & frizz free! We shall see! I have high hopes. My hair needs help! Stay tuned ladies & fellow bloggers...

T.J. Maxx Deals

T.J. Maxx is my all-time favorite store so you will definitely see me talking about T.J. Maxx in alot of my blog posts. 

A few days ago I found some great deals at T.J. Maxx. I always go every week to see what they have... 

This is nail polish heaven! I scored OPI polishes for $3.99 reguarly $9, Nicole by OPI polishes for $2.99 reguarly $8, and Essie polishes for $4.99 reguarly $9. They also had Sally Hansen Nail Growth Polishes. 

Really cute Franco Sarto white sandals for $29.99! Such a great deal. I fell in love with them.

Make-up look for 06.07.14

My look for yesterday's trip to see Thomas the Train with my 3-year old son. 

To achieve this look I used: 

As you can tell I love Rimmel & NYX makeup products. They are the best for my very oily face & medium dark complexion. 

Face: I wash my face first (Always start with a blank & clean canvas) First I apply the Fix & Perfect Primer, Stay Matte   Foundation in True Beige, I put the NYX Orange cream blush on the apples of my cheeks (Apply while smiling). Last I set my face with the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in Creamy Beige. 

Eyes: I used the red on the far left of the Sex Bomb palette for my crease. (Hard to see because I have hooded Asian eyes) I applied the Orange & Light Brown shimmery eyeshadow from the Maybelline Eye Studio Palette (95 Coral Oasis). The eyeliners I used were the NYX  eyeliners: Milk (Inner Corners) Bronze (Outer Corners) 

Lips: I first applied NYX lipliner pencil in 850 Nectar, put a little bit of lip balm to moisturize my lips (my lips stay dry) then lastly my lipstick was the NYX Matte lipstick MLS 24 Street Cred. 

And Voila after about 30 minutes I was ready! The things we do to be pretty! Lol

Big Lots Bargains

One of my favorite stores to go to for good deals & bargains is Big Lots. Especially on make-up & nail polish. I usually hit up Big Lots at least once a week to see what they have. Don't be afraid to shop at bargain stores to see what they may have! You will be pleasantly surprised. 

They had an assortment of beautiful Loreal Colourriche Lipsticks for $4. They are usually around $9! More than half off. 

 

One Sweep Eyeshadows for $4. Reguarly $8-$9! Natural Shades Only. 

Loreal Voluminous Mascara (One of my fave Mascaras) for $4. Reguarly $8! 

One of my favorite Nail Polish Companies: Sinful Colors for $1.95 each! I was very excited to see this display. Very beautiful, bright & vivid colors. 

Another one of my favorite brands ever: ELF Cosmetics. (Eyes Lips Face) Nail Polish sets for $2.95. These are reguarly $5-$6! Another good nail polish brand. 

I was super excited to see that they had some Covergirl Eyeshadow Palettes! Selling for $2 & $3! Reguarly $5-6. 

Very cute Red Lipstick coin bank for $3. It was 30% off. It caught my eye. Lol. So cute!!! 

I hope this will encourage some to definitely start shopping at Big Lots & to give them a try. Happy Bargain Shopping Ladies!
