L.A. Colors Eyeliner Gift Set

L.A. Colors is one of my favorite affordable make-up brands. This time of the year is when a lot of Cosmetic companies release their gift sets & limited edition sets. 

I love eyeliners & I can never have enough. So, when I saw this incredible & affordable 10-piece eyeliner set for $5 I had to have it! 

I bought this at Dollar General. They had a lot of amazing gift sets! 

Beautiful & Bold colors for only $5! I highly recommend these ladies! Also, makes a great gift idea.

Hard Candy Eyeshadow Palettes

I thought I would give my Hard Candy Palettes some love & much needed use. I bought these a few weeks ago & I have yet to use them...

I wanted to do a quick & easy eye make-up look with the palettes. This is what I came up with...

I used NYX Cosmetics jumbo eye pencil in milk as a base first on my eyelid. I then used the Natural Beauty Eyeshadow palette on my brow bone...

I used the 3rd eyeshadow & the 7th eyeshadow from the Left...

As my cut crease I used the beautiful blue & purple eyeshadow from the Aphrodisiac Eyeshadow palette...

On the bottom I used the black eyeshadow from the Aphrodisiac palette as a eyeliner & I smoked it out with my Angled brow brush by Real Techniques.

My favorite brushes ever!!! (Affordable)

As my winged double eyeliner I used my Holy Grail product ELF Cosmetics Cream Eyeliner in Black...I applied it with my fine liner brush by Real Techniques.

Volia a simple but colorful & bold make-up look! I would recommend these eyeshadow palettes. They are highly pigmented & vivid for the price! A great bargain & I'm all about a great bargain ladies! These were $6 each at Wal-Mart.

My favorite Face Mask

I think using a deep clean face mask at least once a week is very important for your face ladies. 

I personally think Freeman makes the BEST masks. They make an assortment of varieties for different face types & different face needs & they are inexpensive. Only $4.99 at Ulta Beauty Store. 

My personal favorite is the Mint & Lemon Face Mask because I have very oily skin & I get a lot of blackheads. It is very refreshing & it smells amazing!!! 

Ladies, think about adding a face mask to your weekly skin care routine. I promise it will be an amazing addition to your skincare & you will notice a difference in your skin.

Maybelline Color Sensational Vivid Lipsticks

They are from Maybelline's Colorsensational Vivid Lipstick line. 

They are bright, beautiful, highly pigmented & of course vivid!

Real Techniques Brushes

Wal-Mart has really stepped up their make-up game!

They are (finally) selling Real Techniques Makeup Brushes. (YAY!!!) They are the best make-up brushes in my opinion. 

The your eyes enhanced brushes kit was only $14.95 compared to $18 at Ulta Beauty Store.

I'll definitely be buying more for my 

make-up kit. 

I highly recommend these make-up brushes ladies!

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick Haul

I am trying to slowly add to my lipstick collection & Revlon is one of my favorite drugstore brand lipsticks. They are always creamy, long-lasting & they have beautiful color choices. 

I recently bought these lipsticks at Wal-Mart for $6.79 each. They are from Revlon's Super Lustrous Collection. 

They are Absolutely Beautiful! 

I chose more dark vampy colors for fall.

My personal favorite is definitely Black Cherry! 

But, they are all beautiful & very creamy.

I took these under my lamp with flash with my iPhone 5C...

I highly recommend these lipsticks & Revlon is a great make-up line.

White Eyeliner Look

I got so many compliments on my MOTD look today so here are the details: 

On my face is my usual Rimmel Stay Matte products. They are my Holy Grail. 

Stay Matte Primer, Foundation & Powder

On my eyes is NYX Cosmetics Jumbo Eyeliner Pencil in Milk & my cut crease is three different pink eyeshadows from my beautiful ELF Cosmetics 96-piece eyeshadow palette. 

My blush is Iris by BH Cosmetics:

LA Girl Cosmetics Glazed Lip Paint in Bombshell. Gorgeous & Glossy pink. 

A little bit goes a long way. I applied it with a small brush. 

I love makeup & playing with different colors. Don't be afraid to try a bold & sassy new makeup look! =)

Organizing on a budget

I'm very OCD and I want everything organized. Lol. For the longest my make-up was just thrown in my drawers & I could not see all that I had. It drove me crazy! 

As you can see I had all my eyeshadows thrown in. There were eyeshadows that were still brand new. 

I bought these little trays to organize my eyeshadows & blushes. These were only $1 each at Dollar Tree! (One of my favorite stores) Cute & Cheap way to organize my beautiful make-up mess! =)

I organized it by brand: Wet N Wild, Revlon, Maybelline, NYX, Covergirl, L.A. Colors, MAC, Rimmel, NYC & random brands. 

My eyeshadows:

As you can see it fits in my drawers! It looks so nice organized & I can see everything that I have. 

My blushes & bronzers: 

I love that I can finally see what I have & I can now try to use the products that are still brand new.

Purple Radiance Look

If ya'll couldn't tell purple is obviously my favorite color. I think purple is so pretty & I have a lot of purple eyeshadows, eyeliners & lipsticks. 

I wanted to wear my new LA Girl Lip Paint in Coy. It is beautiful! Applies smooth & it is shiny & glossy. I definitely want to buy all of their colors! Lol I used ELF Cosmetics professional concealer brush to apply the Lip Paint. 

For my eyes I used ELF Cosmetics cream eyeliner in black for the cat-eye double wings. 

The eyeshadows were a mixture of my BH Cosmetics Take me to Brazil palette & my Wet N Wild Flirting at the After Party palette. 

My Blush is Wet N Wild. 

My complete look. It matches my beautiful purple highlights! =)

Cleaning Make-up Brushes

I wanted to stress the importance of washing your make-up brushes. 

They collect dirt, dead skin cells & the oils on your face so they should be washed at least once a week! =] 

My daily cleaning routine: 

I soak my brushes in Dawn detergent & Hot water for about an hour. 

I brush them clean with a scouring pad. It really works well! 

Voila! Clean brushes! Ready to be used again! 

Nothing better than clean brushes! =)
